forkd.com and Miss Jenni's Meatloaf

Hello! This is a test post to try out my new forkd.com account. On forkd.com you can add your recipes and then post them to your blog! It saves time since you only have to type them up once and they're pre-formatted. LOVE IT! Hope you all enjoy this meatloaf as much as I do!

Miss Jenni's Meatloaf
A very easy, very classic meatloaf recipe that can be made by anyone at any cooking skill level!

Cooking time: 1h

Serves: 4
Ingredients
  • meatloaf
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • ½ c. onion, chopped
  • ½ c. bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 8 oz. canned diced tomatoes with juice
  • ½ c. bread crumbs
  • topping
  • ⅓ c. ketchup
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. yellow mustard
Preparation
1. preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. mix all ingredients for meatloaf in a medium bowl and then place in a baking dish or loaf pan.
3. mix all ingredients for the topping in a small bowl and then spread over the loaf.
4. bake for 1 hour then enjoy!
